Get to know me

Let's Get Acquainted

This motivational blog was started as a way of sharing the series of letters that I had written to myself over the past decade; these letters discuss my physical, mental, and emotional journey toward personal development.

In 2015, I was going through a rough patch in life, and I had no idea how I would pick myself up and start fresh. It wasn't until 2020 that I decided to focus purely on myself, my happiness, and what I believed was better for me in terms of self-improvement—physically, emotionally, and mentally.

2021 marked a turning point, and with new beginnings on the horizon, I have chosen to share my story with everyone in hopes that my own experiences might serve as the light at the end of the tunnel for anyone facing tough times.

My name is Julia Corotan. I am a Filipino born and raised in the South Pacific Island of Papua New Guinea. I am a Mental Health and Personal Development advocate, Youth Leader, and Content creator. I am best known as the former National Director for Marketing and Communications for AIESEC in Malawi, the largest youth-run organization in the world.
